As an Idaho native, I know the area, and have had the pleasure of traveling from the tip of the panhandle to the slice of Yellowstone that still lies within Idaho’s borders. I was born and raised in Twin Falls, and moved up to Boise in 2007. I love this city, love this state, and love being an Idahoan. There is something truly special about living in a city where a stranger passing you on the sidewalk will look you in the eye and say “Good Morning.” I was raised with this mentality, and I believe that is what makes the Treasure Valley “home” for so many people, whether they’ve been here for 80 years or 80 hours.
